Description

The Crusader is a 630mm wall light shaped as a medieval shield with two crossed spears, finished in burnished bronze. Two 8W LED GU10 bulbs sit behind the shield, casting light upward and downward along the wall. The shield face carries two raised fleur-de-lis motifs and the spears feature ribbed grips and leaf-shaped blades.

Designed for hallways, dining rooms, home bars and themed interiors where a historical or decorative accent is wanted, the Crusader functions as both wall art and practical lighting. The 95mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrower circulation spaces. The dual GU10 bulbs at 3000K provide warm white light that highlights the metalwork detail without overwhelming smaller rooms.

The burnished bronze finish is applied by hand, giving each piece slight tonal variation across the shield surface and spear shafts. The metalwork is die-cast rather than pressed sheet, which gives the shield a three-dimensional relief and adds weight to the fitting. The fleur-de-lis motifs are cast as separate components and fixed to the shield face, creating shadows that deepen when the wall light is switched on.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Crusader ships with two 8W LED GU10 bulbs at 3000K colour temperature, pre-installed and ready to use on connection to mains.

What rooms is it suited to?

The Crusader works well in hallways, dining rooms, home bars, games rooms and any space where a decorative historical or fantasy theme is wanted. The 630mm height and 380mm width suit walls with at least 1m of clear vertical space.

How is the burnished bronze finish maintained?

Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth is acceptable. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes, which can strip the burnished patina and leave the underlying metal exposed.

Can the bulbs be replaced with different colour temperatures?

Yes. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 8W. You can replace the included 3000K warm white bulbs with cooler 4000K or 6000K alternatives if preferred, though warm white suits the bronze finish better.
