Cristal Square LED Crystal Flush Ceiling Light 21W 4000K - Chrome

The Cristal is a 420mm square flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome mirrored glass plate with a smaller frosted square diffuser at the centre. The outer mirrored surface reflects the ceiling and surrounding walls, while the central diffuser is embedded with clear button crystals that catch and scatter the light from the integrated 21W LED behind. The LED produces 2100 lumens at 4000K, delivering a neutral white light across a 120-degree beam angle.

Designed for low-ceiling hallways, landing areas, bedrooms and bathrooms where headroom is tight, the 60mm projection keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the 420mm square footprint provides enough spread for rooms up to 12-14m². The cool white temperature suits modern, minimal and clinical interiors where daylight matching is preferred over warm ambient tones. The mirrored chrome finish works in monochrome colour schemes and alongside stainless steel, glass and white-painted surfaces.

The crystal buttons on the inner diffuser create a textured pattern visible when the light is off, giving the fitting a decorative presence beyond its function as a light source. The combined weight of the mirrored glass plate, crystal detailing and LED module totals 4.5kg, requiring secure mounting to a solid ceiling structure or joist. The polished chrome finish is fingerprint-prone during installation but wipes clean with a microfibre cloth once fitted.

Is this suitable for bathrooms?

The specification table does not list an IP rating, which means the fitting is designed for dry indoor areas only. For bathroom use, a flush ceiling light needs at least IP44 rating for zones 2 and 3, or IP65 for zones 0 and 1. This Cristal model carries no IP certification and should be installed in bedrooms, hallways or landing areas instead.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated 21W LED is non-dimmable. Connecting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or damage the LED driver.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 60mm projection from the ceiling makes this suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower where a pendant or semi-flush would intrude into headroom. The 420mm square spread works in rooms up to approximately 12-14m².

How is the mirrored surface cleaned?

Wipe the polished chrome plate with a clean, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the fitting as it may run into the LED housing.
