Description

The Crelvette is a square LED panel light that sits close to the ceiling, 53cm long, 53cm wide and only 7cm high. A white steel body carries a white plastic diffuser with softly rounded corners, so the light comes through as an even, opal glow rather than a bright spot. The LEDs are integrated, drawing 50W and giving 5,900 lumens at 3000K, a warm white. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

Because it is so slim, the panel suits rooms with lower ceilings, where a pendant would hang into head height, and its square shape lines up neatly with the walls of a living room, bedroom, hallway, study or home office. With 5,900 lumens from one fitting, it gives plenty of clear, general light for reading, working and everyday family life, and the wide opal diffuser spreads it evenly across the room. The warm white keeps the room comfortable in the evening rather than clinical, and the plain white finish sits quietly against pale ceilings in any style of home, from modern to traditional.

There is no switch or dimmer on the panel itself: it is not dimmable, and you turn it on and off with your wall switch. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and carries an energy class of F. As a wired mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 2.542KG. For care, switch it off at the wall and let it cool, then wipe the diffuser with a soft, dry cloth to keep the white plastic clean and the light even.
