Description

The Crelvette is a round LED flush ceiling light in white, 43cm across and only 7cm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling and keeps the room feeling open. The body is white steel and the shade is a white plastic diffuser with a soft opal look, which spreads the light evenly and hides the LEDs from view. The light source is integrated LED: six built-in lights, each rated at 5.5W and 600lm, with a colour temperature of 3000K for a warm white glow. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

A flush ceiling light like this suits the everyday rooms of a home: living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, landings and home offices. Its shallow profile makes it a good choice where the ceiling is low, as nothing hangs down into the room. The plain white finish blends into a white ceiling, so the light does its job without competing with your furniture, pictures or soft furnishings. Because the LEDs are integrated, there are no separate bulbs to choose, and the warm 3000K light gives a relaxed, homely feel for evenings at home.

The light is not dimmable and has no switch of its own, so you control it from an ordinary on/off wall switch rather than a dimmer. It runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, standard household mains, and carries an energy class of F. Packed, it weighs 1.431KG. As a wired mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a download, so you can read them before the work begins.
