Description

The Creek is a 170mm round outdoor LED ceiling or wall light with an integrated 15W LED module, switchable across three colour temperatures (2700K extra warm, 3300K warm, 4000K cool white). The white powder-coated aluminium body houses a polycarbonate diffuser that spreads 1200 lumens across a 120° beam angle, providing broad uniform light across a patio, entrance porch or covered walkway.

The fitting mounts flush to either a wall or ceiling surface using a single-point fixing plate concealed behind the 170mm diameter housing. At 100mm projection from the mounting surface, the Creek sits close enough to the wall or ceiling to avoid snagging on taller heads or ladder access. The IP65 rating seals the LED module and electronics against rain and dust ingress, making the fitting suitable for any external wall or soffit position including fully exposed locations.

The CCT switch sits inside the housing and is set before the cover is installed, allowing you to choose the light temperature for the location without needing a separate control or wiring change. 2700K suits residential entrances and covered dining areas where a warm glow matches incandescent expectations, 3300K bridges the gap for transitional spaces, and 4000K provides cooler light for functional outdoor zones like bin stores or side gates. The non-dimmable driver runs on standard 230V mains.

The Creek weighs 370g once installed, light enough for plasterboard fixing with appropriate hollow-wall anchors where solid substrate is unavailable. The white finish sits neutrally against render, painted masonry, cladding and UPVC soffits without drawing attention to the fitting itself. The Creek comes with a 3-year warranty covering the integrated LED and driver.

How is the colour temperature changed?

A CCT switch inside the housing allows you to select between 2700K, 3300K and 4000K before you fit the cover. Once the cover is installed the setting is fixed until you remove the cover again. The switch does not require external wiring or a control panel.

Can it be used in fully exposed outdoor locations?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects the LED module and driver against rain, wind-driven spray and dust ingress. The fitting is suitable for any external wall, soffit or ceiling position including fully exposed facades.

Does it work on both walls and ceilings?

Yes. The same fixing plate and housing design allows the Creek to be mounted on either a vertical wall surface or a horizontal ceiling/soffit. The light distribution is symmetrical so orientation does not affect beam pattern.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated driver does not support dimming. The light output is fixed at 1200 lumens when powered on.
