Description
The Crasvorne is a compact wall spotlight with a steel body in satin nickel, picked out with chrome. A round backplate holds a short chrome arm, and on the end of that sits a bullet-shaped head with a polished chrome tip and neat grooved detailing. It measures 7cm in diameter, so it sits tidily on a wall without crowding it. It takes a single GU10 lamp, rated at 2.8W and 250lm with a warm 3000K colour temperature. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry rooms indoors, which settles where it belongs: hallways, living rooms and bedrooms rather than bathrooms or the garden.
Because the head angles, you can aim the light just where it is wanted: across a picture, onto a bookshelf, down over a reading chair or along a dark stretch of hallway. A warm 3000K glow suits living rooms and bedrooms, where a cooler white can feel harsh in the evening. A single spotlight works well beside a bed or a desk, and a pair either side of a doorway gives a balanced look. The satin nickel finish has a soft brushed sheen that sits comfortably with grey, white and stone-coloured walls, while the chrome arm and tip add a bright accent.
There is no switch on the fitting itself: it is switched from the wall, so it works from an ordinary light switch. It runs on 220-240V mains at 50/60Hz and is wired in, so we recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician. The steel body is light, with a packed weight of 0.252KG, and the installation instructions come as a PDF download. GU10 lamps twist in and out by hand, so when the time comes to change one, there are no tools and no fuss involved. It is a small, practical light that puts a warm beam exactly where you need one.
