Description
The Crasvorne is a four-light ceiling spotlight: a gently curving steel bar in satin nickel with a round ceiling plate at its centre, carrying four bullet-shaped heads on short chrome stems. It is 64.5cm long and 10.5cm wide, so one fitting covers a good stretch of ceiling from a single point. Each head takes a GU10 lamp, the fitting is rated at four lights of 2.8W, and each light gives 250 lumens at a colour temperature of 3000K, on the warm side of white. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms.
Because each head can be angled on its own, one spotlight does several jobs at once. In a kitchen you can point light across the worktop and the hob; in a living room, turn one head towards a picture or a bookcase and let the others light the room. It suits a hallway or a landing where a single pendant leaves the corners dim, and along a long room the curving bar spreads four pools of light where a tight cluster would not. The satin nickel and chrome finish sits comfortably beside brushed steel appliances, chrome handles and cool grey or white schemes.
The body is steel, finished in satin nickel, with chrome on the stems and the tips of the heads. There is no switch on the fitting itself: it is switched at the wall, so it comes on with the room's light switch. It runs on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains supply, and as a wired-in mains light it is installed by a qualified electrician; the installation instructions come as a download. The packed weight is 1.142KG. Before you order, measure the space: at 64.5cm long the bar needs a clear stretch of ceiling, away from beams and smoke alarms.

Frequently Asked
Can the Crasvorne go in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and in dry rooms only, so it belongs in a kitchen, living room, hallway or bedroom rather than a bathroom or garden.
How bright is each light?
Each of the four lights gives 250 lumens at a colour temperature of 3000K, which sits on the warm side of white and suits living spaces well.
How big is the spotlight bar?
The bar is 64.5cm long and 10.5cm wide, with a round ceiling plate at the centre of its gentle curve, so it fixes to the ceiling at one point.
Can the heads be angled?
Yes. Each of the four bullet-shaped heads is adjustable, so you can aim light at a worktop, a picture or a stretch of wall.
Does the Crasvorne have its own switch?
No, there is no switch on the fitting itself. It is switched at the wall, so it comes on and goes off with the room's light switch.
What type of lamp does each head take?
Each head takes a GU10 lamp, the familiar spotlight cap, and the fitting is rated at four lights of 2.8W.
