Description
The Crasvorne is a six-light ceiling spotlight with bullet-shaped spot heads set along gently curving arms, all meeting at a round ceiling canopy. The body is steel, finished in satin nickel with chrome details, so the soft, low sheen of the nickel is lifted by small touches of shine. It measures 105cm long, 57.7cm wide and 11.5cm high, so it sits low on the ceiling and suits rooms without much height to spare. Each of the six heads takes a GU10 bulb, rated at 2.8W and 250lm per light, with a 3000K colour temperature for a warm white. The IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.
Because the heads adjust, one fitting can do the work of several. Point a couple at a picture or a bookcase, angle others down over a dining table or a desk, and leave the rest washing light across a wall. That makes it a good choice for a living room, a hallway, a landing, a study or an open-plan dining area, anywhere a single central pendant leaves the corners dim. The satin nickel and chrome finish sits comfortably with grey, white or pale wood, in a modern or traditional room. Keep it to dry rooms only, well away from bathrooms and other damp spaces.
There is no switch on the fitting; it is switched at the wall, so it runs from the light switch you already use. At 2.8W per light it is modest on power for a six-light fitting, and the warm 3000K colour keeps a room comfortable in the evening. As a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. Once it is fitted, take a moment to set each head, because the right angles make all the difference to how the room feels.
