Description

This wall light matches a solid stone backplate with a warm brass arm and a ribbed clear glass shade, so the light picks up a little texture as it passes through the fluted glass. The backplate comes in white Volakas marble, natural travertine or dark brown Emperador marble, each carrying its own natural veining. The vintage brass arm lifts the ribbed shade away from the wall for an upright, sculptural line. It measures 260mm tall and 142mm wide, with a 192mm projection, takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 6W, and weighs 1.3kg.

The ribbed glass sets the Cranton apart, breaking the light softly for a warmer, more decorative glow than a plain shade. The stone and brass pairing suits hallways, living rooms and bedsides, where it works as a soft, ambient light with a sculptural presence. Fit a single light to add interest to a plain wall, or a pair either side of a bed or mirror for a balanced look. The clear ribbed shade suits an E14 LED filament lamp, and the dimmable driver lets you set the level.

Each marble or travertine backplate is a natural material, so no two are quite alike, and the veining gives every fitting its own character. Wipe the stone gently with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh or acidic cleaners that can mark natural stone. The brass arm and ribbed glass wipe clean with a soft cloth as well. As a Class 1 fitting it needs an earth connection, so we suggest a qualified electrician, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms.
