Corvanto Travertine Dome Pendant Light - Light Beige & Wood

The Corvanto is a compact dome pendant light built around a 160mm travertine shade and a tapered light brown wood top, suspended on a braided copper-brown cord. The travertine is left in its natural state, showing the stone's open pores, mineral speckling and warm beige tone across the curved outer surface. A single E27 lamp fitting sits recessed inside the dome, casting light downward through the open base of the shade.

At 180mm tall and 160mm in diameter, the Corvanto suits clusters over kitchen islands and breakfast bars, single drops above bedside tables, or a row of three across a dining table. The compact scale works well in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings without dominating the space. The braided fabric cord is height-adjustable on installation and pairs with a standard UK ceiling rose.

Travertine is a natural sedimentary stone, so each shade differs in pore pattern, mineral banding and tonal depth — no two Corvanto pendants look identical when lit. The combination of stone and warm beech-toned wood gives the fitting a grounded, tactile feel that pairs comfortably with neutral palettes, plaster walls, oak floors and stone worktops. The matt black cable grip at the top of the wooden cone keeps the suspension hardware visually quiet.

Light reflects along the inner curve of the travertine, producing a soft ambient glow around the lower rim while the main beam projects downward. With a warm-white LED bulb, the stone takes on a honeyed tone when lit and reads as a more neutral beige when switched off.

What bulb does the Corvanto take?

The pendant uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K works well for kitchen islands and dining tables, allowing the travertine to take on a honeyed tone when lit.

Does each travertine shade look the same?

No. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pore pattern, mineral banding and tonal depth vary between shades. Each Corvanto pendant is visually unique, which is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.

Can multiple Corvanto pendants be hung together?

Yes. The 160mm diameter and compact 180mm height suit cluster arrangements of two or three above a kitchen island, or a row of three across a dining table. Allow approximately 200-300mm spacing between shades for visual balance.

How is the travertine cleaned?

Travertine is porous, so wipe the shade with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, which can soak into the stone and cause discolouration. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable.
