Description

The Corinto Large is an 845mm LED table lamp built around two curved aluminium arms in polished chrome and silver finishes, rising from a 150mm circular base. An integrated 18W LED strip runs the length of both arms, casting 1440 lumens of warm 3000K light at a 120° beam angle. The lamp is controlled by a touch-sensitive dimmer built into the base, allowing brightness adjustment from full output down to a low ambient setting without a separate dimmer switch.

Designed for console tables, low sideboards, bedroom nightstands and lounge side tables where height and presence matter, the Corinto's sculptural profile gives it visual weight without needing a large footprint. The 150mm base diameter keeps the lamp stable on surfaces as narrow as 250mm deep, while the 845mm height positions the light source well above typical table-lamp level, allowing it to function as both task and ambient lighting in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways.

The polished chrome finish on the outer curve contrasts with the silver inner curve, creating a two-tone effect when viewed from certain angles. The LED strip is recessed into the aluminium channel so the light source is diffused along the length of the arm rather than concentrated at a single point. At 1.48kg the lamp has enough mass to resist tipping but remains light enough to reposition without difficulty. The touch dimmer responds to a tap on the base, cycling through brightness levels from full output to 10% with each successive touch.

How does the touch dimmer work?

Tap the base once to switch the lamp on at full brightness. Each subsequent tap cycles the output down through dimmer levels to approximately 10% brightness. Tap again to switch off. The dimmer has no memory function so the lamp resets to full brightness each time it's switched on.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the aluminium arm and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which equates to over 10 years at typical residential usage of 6 hours per day.

What surface depth is needed?

The 150mm base diameter means the lamp is stable on surfaces as narrow as 250mm deep. On console tables or narrow shelves, position the lamp towards the back edge so the curved arms extend forward rather than overhanging.

Is the light directional or ambient?

Both. The 120° beam angle and curved arm design distribute light in multiple directions, providing ambient fill light for a room. The height of the lamp also allows it to function as reading light when positioned next to a chair or bedside.
