Cordillera 1 Light Outdoor Wall Light - Burnished Bronze

The Cordillera is a single-light outdoor wall light built around a cylindrical seeded glass shade held within a rectangular burnished bronze metal frame. The glass cylinder sits vertically in the centre of the frame, with the E27 lampholder positioned inside the tube. The seeded glass texture catches and diffuses light from the exposed-filament bulb (sold separately), casting textured patterns onto adjacent walls and surfaces.

Designed for exterior installation on porches, front doors, garage entrances and garden walls, the Cordillera provides both functional lighting and architectural interest. The 508mm height and 191mm width suit standard residential wall mounting, with a 180mm projection from the wall that clears most door frames and siding details. The IP44 rating protects against solid objects above 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for covered outdoor positions including under eaves, in porches, and on sheltered wall sections.

The burnished bronze finish shows a darker, aged tone compared to standard bronze, with subtle variations across the metal surface that suggest hand-rubbed patina. The tubular frame design pairs with mid-century, contemporary and transitional architecture, offering a cleaner profile than traditional lantern-style outdoor wall lights. The fitting accepts any E27 LED or filament bulb up to 60W, with warm-white filament bulbs between 2200K-2700K working well with the bronze metalwork.

Product Specification Sheet

What IP rating does the Cordillera carry?

IP44, which protects against solid objects above 1mm and water splashes from any direction. This makes the fitting suitable for covered outdoor positions such as porches, under eaves, and sheltered wall sections. It is not rated for fully exposed positions subject to driving rain or direct water jets.

What bulb does it take?

A standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. The seeded glass cylinder and vertical orientation work well with exposed-filament LED bulbs in warm white (2200K-2700K), which cast textured light patterns through the glass.

How far does it project from the wall?

180mm from the wall surface to the front edge of the frame. This projection clears most door frames, siding details and rendered wall finishes, and provides enough standoff for the light to wash the wall surface around the fitting.

Is the glass replaceable if damaged?

Contact Hinkley or Niori customer service for replacement glass cylinder availability. The seeded glass tube is a bespoke component specific to the Cordillera range and may require ordering directly from the manufacturer.
