Description

The Cono is a 36cm conical pendant light finished in matte pearl grey with an integrated opal acrylic diffuser across the base. A single E27 bulb fitting sits inside the metal shade (bulb sold separately), and light passes downward through the opal diffuser to provide wide, soft illumination without glare or visible lamp filament.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, the Cono works as a single pendant over a round table or in multiples spaced 800mm-1000mm apart along a counter run. The adjustable cable drop ranges from 40cm minimum to 150cm maximum, allowing the pendant to be set at typical dining heights of 700-800mm above the table surface or higher over kitchen worktops where headroom is needed. The black cable contrasts with the pearl grey shade without adding visual weight.

The matte pearl grey finish is a neutral mid-tone that sits between white and concrete grey, pairing comfortably with Scandinavian, coastal and minimalist interiors where soft colour palettes dominate. What bulb does the Cono take?

The Cono uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for dining and kitchen use.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

Yes, the cable is adjustable between 40cm and 150cm during installation. Once the cable is trimmed and the pendant is wired in, the drop becomes fixed unless the cable is lengthened or re-trimmed by a qualified electrician.

Is the Cono suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the pendant is rated for dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use, or anywhere exposed to moisture or condensation.

How many pendants are needed over a kitchen island?

For a standard 1.8-2.4m kitchen island, two Cono pendants spaced 800mm-1000mm apart typically provide even coverage. Longer islands may benefit from three pendants spaced at similar intervals.
