Description

The Coniston is an 8-light crystal flush ceiling light with cascading clear crystal strands arranged in tiers around a French gold metal frame. The 450mm-diameter dome projects 440mm from the ceiling, with a polished gold canopy at the base and rows of faceted crystal droplets forming a layered hemisphere below. Eight G9 bulb sockets sit within the crystal tiers, and the fitting carries an IP44 rating for moisture-protected use in bathroom zone two.

Designed for bathrooms, hallways and rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a traditional chandelier would hang too low, the Coniston provides the visual presence of a decorative crystal light without the drop of a suspension fitting. The crystal tiers catch and refract light from the G9 bulbs, scattering highlights across walls and mirrored surfaces. The French gold finish adds warmth to the metal structure and contrasts with the clear crystal to create definition between the tiers.

The IP44 rating provides splash protection, making the fitting safe for use in bathrooms above the bath or shower enclosure (zone two) but not inside the shower itself. The 13.2kg weight requires secure fixing to a solid ceiling joist or ceiling box rated for the load. The fitting accepts G9 LED or halogen capsule bulbs up to 10W each (sold separately), and dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb chosen.

The French gold tone sits between polished brass and antique gold, with a slightly muted sheen that reads warmer than chrome or nickel. Yes. The IP44 rating provides splash protection for use in bathroom zone two (above baths and outside shower enclosures). It is not rated for use inside showers or directly above baths where direct water jets may occur.
