Description

The Coniston is a 967mm linear flush ceiling light with five tiers of faceted clear crystal droplets suspended from an antique brass rectangular frame, housing 11 E14 bulb fittings across the length. The crystal tiers cascade down from the ceiling plate, forming a shallow dome profile 310mm deep that sits close to the ceiling without requiring recessed mounting.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with standard ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m, the Coniston provides both ambient and decorative lighting across a narrow horizontal spread. The 967mm length suits rectangular dining tables between 1.8m and 2.4m long, positioned centrally above the table surface. The flush-mount design works in rooms where a traditional pendant would hang too low or where ceiling height does not allow for a drop fitting.

Each of the 11 bulbs sits behind multiple tiers of crystal, so when lit the crystals refract and multiply the light source across the room. The antique brass finish on the frame and ceiling plate shows a darker patina than polished or brushed brass, with visible tonal variation that reads as aged metalwork rather than new. The combined weight of the brass frame and crystal droplets totals 21.8kg, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced mounting point.

The fitting accepts dimmable E14 bulbs (sold separately), allowing the light level to be controlled from full output for task lighting during meals to low output for evening ambient use.
