Description

The Coniston is a 250mm flush-mounted crystal ceiling light with a polished chrome canopy and three G9 bulb fittings arranged behind layered tiers of clear faceted crystal. The crystals cascade in a dome shape, with each tier refracting light outward through multiple planes as it passes through the facets. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zone 2, where the fitting is exposed to moisture and steam but not direct water jets.

Designed for ensuites, cloakrooms and bathrooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above, the Coniston provides ambient light with decorative sparkle without requiring the vertical clearance of a pendant. The 240mm projection from ceiling to base keeps the fitting clear of head height in most rooms, while the polished chrome canopy reflects ceiling-mounted downlights and creates a secondary point of brightness. The G9 fittings accept capsule LED or halogen bulbs up to 10W each, giving flexibility to choose warm-white or neutral-white light depending on the mirror and tile finishes in the room.

The crystal tiers are arranged in three layers, with the largest diameter at the top and the smallest at the base, creating a rounded profile that diffuses light laterally across the ceiling and down into the room. The Coniston takes three G9 capsule bulbs up to 10W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2700K-3000K for bathroom lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you fit dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim, even with a dimmer installed.
