Description

The Conistarino is a round LED flush ceiling light that sits close to the ceiling, measuring 40cm in diameter and just 6.5cm high. Its body is white steel, and a soft opal diffuser at its centre is framed by a translucent plastic ring, so the edge glows gently whenever the light is lit. The LED gives 2,600 lumens, a generous output for the main light in a bedroom, living room or study. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room, and never in a bathroom or outdoors.

A flush design keeps the whole fitting tight to the ceiling, which makes it a sensible choice for rooms with lower ceilings, landings and hallways, where a hanging pendant would get in the way. Because it is not dimmable, it gives the same full output every time, so it works best as the room's everyday main light, with a table lamp for quieter evenings. The white body and translucent ring sit quietly against a white or pale ceiling, so it suits a calm, neutral scheme and will not compete with the rest of the room.

Steel is strong and rigid, which gives the round body a firm frame that keeps its shape. The light runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power, and the fitting weighs 1.358KG packed, a manageable weight for a ceiling light 40cm across. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a download, so you can pass them to your electrician well before the day of fitting and have everything ready.
