Congress 4 Light Clear Glass Chandelier - Brushed Caramel

The Congress is a 4-light chandelier built around four conical clear glass shades suspended from curved brass arms on a central brushed caramel brass column. Each shade hangs inverted from a looped arm, with the glass widening towards the base to create a funnel profile. Four E27 bulb fittings sit inside the glass (bulbs sold separately), directing light downward and outward through the clear glass.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Congress combines ambient and decorative function. The 686mm diameter suits tables 1.2-1.8m long and kitchen islands up to 2m, with the adjustable drop (578mm minimum, 1340mm maximum) allowing the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above the surface depending on ceiling height. The brushed caramel finish on the brass softens reflections and introduces warm tonal depth to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

The looped brass arms arch outward from the central column before curving back down to support each glass shade, creating a symmetrical four-point radial structure. The clear glass allows the filament bulbs to be visible when lit, making this chandelier well-suited to decorative LED filament bulbs or traditional carbon-filament bulbs in the Edison or squirrel-cage style. The combined brass frame and four glass shades give the fitting a substantial presence without requiring a large footprint, fitting comfortably in rooms 3.5-5m square.

What bulbs does the Congress take?

The chandelier takes four E27 bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. The clear glass shades expose the bulb when lit, so decorative LED filament bulbs in Edison, globe or squirrel-cage styles work well. Warm white (2700K-3000K) is typical for dining and living spaces.

What table size does it suit?

The 686mm diameter works over dining tables 1.2-1.8m long and kitchen islands up to 2m. The chandelier should be centred over the table and hung 700-900mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.4m at minimum drop.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

The drop is adjustable on installation by shortening the suspension rod, but once fitted the height is fixed. The rod can be adjusted between 578mm minimum and 1340mm maximum drop from ceiling to the base of the fitting.

What's the difference between brushed caramel and polished brass?

Brushed caramel is a warm brass tone with a low-sheen brushed surface that softens reflections and introduces amber-gold tonal depth. Polished brass is brighter and more reflective with a mirror-like surface. The brushed finish here is less maintenance-intensive and fingerprints are less visible.
