Description

The Congress is a single-light wall fitting with a clear conical glass shade suspended from a brushed caramel metal arm and backplate. The shade hangs downward from a gooseneck arm that arcs out from a circular wall plate, positioning the glass approximately 248mm from the wall. An exposed E27 bulb sits inside the clear glass cone, with the bulb filament visible through the glass when lit.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and living rooms where task lighting or accent lighting is needed at wall height, the Congress suits both traditional and industrial interiors. The 203mm-wide glass shade directs light downward and outward, making it suitable for reading positions next to beds or armchairs, or for flanking mirrors and artwork in hallways. The clear glass shows the bulb filament directly, so pairing with a decorative LED filament bulb (sold separately) completes the vintage industrial appearance.

The brushed caramel finish on the metalwork sits between antique brass and brushed bronze, with a warm mid-tone that pairs well with oak, walnut and warmer neutrals. The glass shade is hand-blown with a slight taper, giving the fitting a 286mm overall height from the top of the wall plate to the bottom of the glass. The metalwork includes knurled thumbscrews on the lamp holder, a detail that reinforces the industrial character without being overtly steampunk.
