Description

The Congress is a 203mm clear glass pendant from Hinkley with a polished chrome ceiling mount, adjustable rod stem, and a conical clear glass shade. The glass cone tapers to a narrow top where it meets the chrome mounting collar, with two visible thumbscrews either side that reference industrial factory lighting from the early 20th century. A single E27 bulb sits inside the glass shade, visible through the clear glass when lit.

Designed for installation over kitchen worktops, dining tables, breakfast bars and side tables where focused downward light is needed, the Congress works as both functional task lighting and a decorative accent. The rod is height-adjustable on installation between a 253mm minimum drop and a 902mm maximum drop, allowing the pendant to be set 600-800mm above a work surface or dining table depending on ceiling height. The polished chrome finish pairs with stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel hardware and cool-toned interiors.

The clear glass shade allows full light transmission without diffusion, making it well-suited to LED filament bulbs where the visible filament becomes part of the aesthetic. The 60W maximum rating accepts standard E27 LED, halogen or traditional incandescent bulbs (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and brightness.
