Colores Multicolour Portrait Photography Print on Tempered Glass - 100x100cm

The Colores is a 100x100cm portrait photography print on tempered glass showing a human face and hands covered in multicoloured paint strokes across blues, pinks, yellows, purples and greens. The tempered glass substrate gives the image a high-gloss finish with vivid colour saturation and sharp detail, while the 0.4cm glass thickness keeps the panel rigid for wall mounting. Designed as a large-scale centrepiece for living rooms, hallway feature walls, creative studio spaces and contemporary bedrooms, the Colores suits interiors that lean towards pop art, maximalist or eclectic styling. The 100x100cm format works on walls with at least 2.5m height and 2m clear width to allow breathing space around the image. The square format balances vertically and horizontally, making it versatile across different wall proportions.

The multicoloured paint on the subject's face and hands creates a layered composition where no single colour dominates — instead the eye picks up different hues depending on viewing distance and ambient light. The tempered glass surface amplifies this effect under direct lighting, with reflections adding depth. At 10kg the print requires secure wall fixings into studs or solid masonry rather than plasterboard-only mounting.

Schuller's photography print collection uses UV-resistant inks bonded to the glass reverse, so the image sits behind the glass surface rather than on top of it. This protects the print from moisture, dust and surface scratches, and means the glass can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner without affecting the image. The glass edges are polished and the rear mounting brackets sit flush to minimise projection from the wall.

How is the print mounted to the wall?

The Colores includes wall-mounting hardware that fixes to the rear of the glass panel. Due to the 10kg weight, the fixings must be secured into wall studs or solid masonry with appropriate wall plugs — plasterboard-only mounting is not suitable. Can the glass be cleaned?

Yes. The image is printed on the reverse side of the glass, so the front surface can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth without damaging the print. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough cloths that could scratch the glass.

What wall space is needed?

The 100x100cm square format works best on walls with at least 2.5m height and 2m clear width, allowing space around the image. The print can be hung alone as a centrepiece or grouped with smaller prints in a gallery wall arrangement.

Is the glass safety-rated?

The print uses tempered glass, which is heat-treated to be stronger than standard glass and shatters into small granular pieces rather than large shards if broken. This makes it safer for wall-mounted use in residential settings.
