Collier 5 Light Seeded Glass Chandelier - Black Oxide

The Collier is a 685mm-diameter chandelier with five cylindrical seeded glass shades suspended from a black oxide metal frame. Each glass cylinder houses an E27 bulb (sold separately), with the seeded texture diffusing light while the open glass ends allow direct downward illumination. Six slender arms radiate from a central hub, supporting the glass shades on individual black oxide brackets.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Collier works where overhead lighting needs to cover a circular area of 2-2.5m diameter. The 932mm minimum drop suits standard ceiling heights, while the 3048mm chain allows installation in double-height spaces up to 2046mm total drop. The black oxide finish provides a dark, non-reflective surface that recedes visually, letting the lit glass dominate.

The seeded glass texture creates a bubble-patterned surface that scatters light in multiple directions, softening the output from filament or LED bulbs without fully obscuring the bulb itself. What bulbs does the Collier take?

The chandelier has five E27 (Edison screw) sockets, each rated at 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED filament bulbs between 4-6W and 2200K-2700K to complement the seeded glass and black oxide finish.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 932mm minimum drop works in rooms with 2.6m ceilings or above. For dining table installation, the chandelier typically hangs 750-850mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of approximately 2.7-2.8m. The chain can be shortened during fitting.

Is the seeded glass clear or frosted?

The glass is clear with embedded seed bubbles that create a textured surface. Light passes through but is scattered by the bubbles, softening the bulb glare without fully diffusing it like frosted glass would.

Can the chain length be adjusted?

Yes. The chandelier ships with 3048mm of chain, allowing a maximum 2046mm total drop. The chain can be shortened to the 932mm minimum drop or any length in between during installation by removing links.
