Description

The Collage is a semi-flush ceiling light built from two interlocking black metal rings with a radial grille pattern cut into each ring. The smaller ring sits at approximately 400mm diameter, the larger at 560mm, with both rings overlapping at one edge to create a layered asymmetric profile. An integrated 30W LED inside the rings produces 2250 lumens of 3000K warm white light, diffused through the grille pattern to create striped shadow and light effects on the ceiling above.

Designed for modern living rooms, dining rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Collage acts as both a functional ceiling light and a sculptural feature. The semi-flush mounting drops the rings 102mm below the ceiling plane, giving the grille pattern enough projection to cast visible shadow lines on the ceiling. The 120° beam angle from the LED spreads light across a wide area, making the fitting suitable as primary lighting in rooms up to 20m².

The matt black finish on both rings absorbs ambient light during the day, turning the fitting into a bold graphic element against white or light-coloured ceilings. When lit, the grille structure becomes a secondary light feature, with the warm white LED turning the metal rings into a backlit frame. The overlapping section where the two rings intersect creates a denser grille pattern and stronger shadow detail. At 1.64kg, the fitting requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced mounting plate.

Is the Collage dimmable?

No. The integrated 30W LED is non-dimmable and operates at full brightness when switched on. If dimming is required, this fitting is not compatible.

What room size does the 2250lm output suit?

The 120° beam angle and 2250 lumen output make this suitable as primary lighting in rooms up to approximately 20m² (roughly a 4m x 5m living room or dining room). For larger spaces, pair with additional task or accent lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 102mm drop from the ceiling means the fitting projects lower than a true flush mount. Rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above work well. Lower ceilings can accommodate the Collage, but the fitting will feel more prominent in the vertical space.

How is the fitting mounted?

At 1.64kg, the Collage requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced mounting plate. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient. The fitting connects to mains via a ceiling rose or junction box and does not require external drivers.
