Description
The Colette is a 50cm chrome wall light built around two vertically stacked oval rings, each containing an opal silicone diffuser and integrated LED. The chrome-plated aluminium frame holds the ovals in alignment and mounts to the wall via a concealed rear plate. The integrated 12W LED runs at 3000K warm white with a CRI above 80, providing a soft, diffused light suitable for hallways, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas.
The fitting can be installed vertically (50cm tall) for a linear accent beside mirrors, between doorways, or flanking a bed, or rotated 90° and installed horizontally (50cm wide) to follow a shelf line or run above a vanity. The opal diffusers hide the LED source and spread light evenly across both the wall and the surrounding space, avoiding harsh shadows or glare points. The IP20 rating limits the Colette to dry interior locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms above baths or showers.
The chrome finish is polished to a mirror-like surface that reflects ambient light during the day and adds a metallic accent to the wall. At 650g and 8cm projection from the wall, the Colette remains visually light despite its 50cm length. The aluminium construction resists corrosion and holds its finish over time without requiring polishing. The Class 1 electrical rating requires a protective earth connection during installation.

Frequently Asked
Can the Colette be installed horizontally?
Yes. The fitting can be rotated 90° and installed horizontally, giving a 50cm-wide profile instead of a 50cm-tall profile. This is useful above vanity units, desks, or where the wall space is wider than it is tall.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
The IP20 rating means the Colette is only suitable for dry interior zones. It can be used in bathrooms where there is no risk of water contact, but not in Zone 1 or Zone 2 areas (directly above baths, showers, or within the splash zone).
Is the LED dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility is not specified in the product data. For most Schuller integrated LED fittings, dimming requires a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer. Contact us before pairing the Colette with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.
How is the chrome surface maintained?
Wipe the chrome with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishes, and household sprays that can damage the plated finish.
