Description

The Colette is a 9-light LED cluster pendant built around nine oval aluminium loops in a rose gold finish, each loop housing an opal silicone diffuser that softens the output from integrated LED strips. The loops cascade from a 500mm circular canopy at varying lengths, creating a staggered sculptural profile. The total integrated LED load is 117W at 3000K warm white, controlled by a supplied RF remote that provides dimming and on/off switching without needing a wall dimmer.

Designed for double-height living rooms, dining areas over tables longer than 1.8m, and commercial hospitality spaces where a statement piece is needed, the Colette works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. The adjustable suspension allows the pendant to be set between 80cm and 220cm drop on installation, meaning it can be raised to suit lower ceilings or extended to full drama in taller spaces. Gravity-toggle fittings keep the canopy flush to the ceiling once installed.

The rose gold finish is a satin brushed aluminium that catches ambient light across the curved loops without the high glare of polished metal, pairing well with warm-toned contemporary, mid-century and art deco interiors. The opal diffusers distribute the LED output evenly through each loop, preventing hotspotting and harsh shadows below the fitting. Yes. The integrated LED is controlled by a supplied RF remote that provides smooth dimming and on/off switching. The TRIAC/0-10V driver supports flicker-free dimming down to low ambient levels without needing a wall-mounted dimmer switch.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable suspension allows the pendant to be set between 80cm and 220cm drop. For dining tables or kitchen islands the pendant typically sits 70-90cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. The full 220cm extension suits double-height spaces or commercial installations.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No. The LEDs are integrated into the loops and are not user-replaceable. The rated lifespan for integrated LEDs is typically 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 15-20 years of typical domestic use.

What ceiling support is required?

The pendant weighs 6.4kg, so the ceiling support must be rated for at least 10kg. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient — the canopy should be fixed to a ceiling joist or a timber batten spanning multiple joists. The Class 1 electrical rating requires an earth connection.
