The Coin Medium is a 500mm round flush ceiling light with an integrated 80W LED delivering 3900lm through a central white diffuser, surrounded by a 70mm-deep gold metal frame. The LED is tuneable between 2700K warm white and 5000K cool white via the included remote control, which also provides full dimming control. The flush-mount profile sits close to the ceiling with minimal projection, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces needing adjustable ambient light, the Coin's tuneable CCT function allows the colour temperature to be shifted throughout the day. Warm 2700K light in the evening creates a relaxed atmosphere, while cooler 5000K in the morning provides brighter, more alert working light. The 120-degree beam angle spreads light evenly across a 4-5m square room, and the 3900lm output matches the brightness of a traditional 300W halogen ceiling fitting.

The gold metal frame provides a warm metallic accent that pairs well with brass hardware, warm timber furniture and neutral wall tones in contemporary and transitional interiors. The flush-mount design means no visible suspension or chain, giving a clean ceiling plane. The remote control stores six preset scenes and the last-used brightness and colour temperature settings are retained after switching off at the wall. The fitting weighs 1.6kg and connects directly to mains 220-240V wiring without external transformers.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The included remote control provides buttons to shift the LED between 2700K warm white and 5000K cool white, with intermediate steps across the full range. The last-used setting is retained when the fitting is switched off at the wall.

What room size does it suit?

The 3900lm output and 120-degree beam angle provide general ambient lighting for a 4-5m square room with a ceiling height of 2.4-2.7m. Larger or darker rooms may benefit from pairing with additional fittings or supplementary task lighting.

Can it be installed on a standard ceiling rose?

Yes. The Coin connects to standard UK mains wiring (220-240V) at a ceiling rose or junction box. The 70mm height includes the mounting backplate, so ensure there is clearance above the ceiling for the terminal block and cable connections.

Is the remote control required, or can it be used without?

The remote is required to adjust brightness and colour temperature. Switching the fitting on and off at the wall is possible, but dimming and CCT control can only be accessed via the remote.
