Description
The Coin is a 650mm diameter flush ceiling light with an integrated tuneable white LED that delivers 6000 lumens through a circular diffuser. The LED colour temperature adjusts between 2700K warm white and 5000K cool white via the included remote control, allowing the light to be warmed for evening relaxation or cooled for daytime task focus. The 70mm depth keeps the fitting tight to the ceiling, suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights.
Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and hallways requiring general ambient light without pendant drop, the Coin provides broad, even coverage across the room. The 120-degree beam angle spreads light outwards from the centre of the diffuser, minimising harsh shadows on walls and corners. The remote control also adjusts brightness from 10-100%, giving flexibility to reduce output for background light or increase it for reading and detailed work.
The white metal housing blends with white or light-toned ceilings, allowing the glowing diffuser to read as the primary element rather than the fixture itself. At 2.8kg the fitting requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or suitable support between joists, and connects to standard UK 230-240V mains via a ceiling rose. The 100W power draw at full output is comparable to a traditional 400W halogen equivalent, but generates significantly less heat.

Frequently Asked
What does tuneable white mean?
The integrated LED can be adjusted between 2700K warm white and 5000K cool white using the remote control. Warm white suits evening and relaxation settings, while cool white provides a more neutral daylight tone for daytime work and reading.
Is the Coin suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The 70mm depth makes the Coin appropriate for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights. Flush ceiling lights sit close to the ceiling plane, avoiding the visual and physical intrusion of pendant fittings in rooms where headroom is limited.
How bright is 6000 lumens?
6000 lumens is roughly equivalent to a 400W halogen bulb. This output is suitable for primary lighting in living rooms, bedrooms and home offices up to approximately 20-25 square metres. The remote control allows dimming from 10-100% to reduce brightness when full output is not needed.
Does the remote require batteries?
Yes. The remote control typically requires AAA batteries. The remote is included with the fitting, and the batteries may or may not be supplied depending on the pack configuration when shipped.
