Description
The Coin brings an integrated LED light source and a built-in DC fan together in one shallow white body, so a single fitting takes care of both the light and the air in a room. Its blades reach 106cm across, while the central housing stays compact and neat. The white light is tuneable, running from soft and warm through to crisp and cool, and it dims right down. Control is by handheld remote, by app, or by voice through Alexa and Google.
We would put one of these in a bedroom, a home office or a living room that turns stuffy in summer, anywhere you want moving air and proper general light without two separate fittings overhead. With 40W of LED behind it, the light is enough to work as the main source in a medium room, so there is no need to add downlights around it. Being able to shift the tone matters here too: warmer for evenings, cooler when you are reading or at a desk. Keep it to dry rooms indoors, well away from bathrooms, porches and anywhere the weather reaches.
Body and blades are finished in white throughout, which keeps the fitting quiet against a pale ceiling rather than pulling the eye upwards. The LED and its driver are built in, so there is nothing to buy alongside it. For cleaning, turn the power off, then run a soft cloth along the top and underside of each blade, where dust gathers faster than on the housing; nothing damp, nothing abrasive. It carries a five year warranty. In a modern room with plain plaster and simple joinery it reads as part of the ceiling, and it is one we reach for when a fan on its own would look like an afterthought.

Frequently Asked
How bright is it, and what colour is the light?
It gives around 6400 lumens, and the white is tuneable across 3000K to 5000K, so you can set anything from a warm domestic glow to a cool, crisp light.
How much space does it need across a room?
The blade span reaches 106cm, with a central housing of 49cm, so allow clear air around it in all directions.
Do I need a bulb or a separate driver?
No. The LED is integrated and the driver is supplied within the fitting, with an average rated life of 25,000 hours.
How do I dim it?
Dimming is handled by the supplied remote, by the app, or by voice through Alexa and Google, so no separate wall dimmer is required.
Can it go in a bathroom or a covered outdoor area?
No, it is rated for dry indoor rooms only. Choose a fitting with a suitable moisture rating for bathrooms or sheltered outdoor spaces.
What is the best way to keep the blades clean?
Switch the power off first, then wipe each blade with a dry or barely damp soft cloth, top and bottom. Avoid sprays and scouring pads on the white finish.
