Description

The Cobh is a modern brass pull handle built from a single clean line: a square-section bar carried on two short square legs that turn down at right angles to meet the door or drawer front. Made from brass, it measures 20cm in length, 1cm across the bar and 4.5cm in depth, which leaves room for your fingers to slip behind the grip and pull. We offer it in four finishes, Satin Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver and Polished Brass, so you can choose the one that sits best with the lighting, hinges and other metalwork already in the room.

This is a handle for indoor furniture and joinery. Its straight, squared profile suits slab and Shaker-style doors alike, and it works on kitchen cupboards and drawers, wardrobes, sideboards, chests of drawers, bedside cabinets and media units in a living room or study. Satin Brass gives a soft, brushed warmth; Polished Brass a brighter shine; Antique Brass a deeper, aged tone that sits comfortably in a period home; and Antique Silver a cooler alternative for those who prefer a silver tone against grey, white or dark painted units. Because every finish shares the same shape and size, you can use one finish throughout a run of units for a consistent line, or use two to set an island or dresser apart.

The bar and legs are brass, and the square section stays crisp along the whole length, giving a firm, comfortable hold every time a drawer or door is opened. The handle is made in Ireland, and the maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase. Before you order, measure your doors and drawer fronts to check that a 20cm handle suits their proportions, and choose your finish with the rest of the room in mind. Our photographs show the Satin Brass finish.
