Description

The Clenette is a five light cluster pendant: five chrome globes, each set inside a clear glass outer shade, hang at staggered heights from a round chrome ceiling plate. The body is steel in a polished chrome finish, and the whole pendant measures 150cm high overall and 58.5cm across. Each shade takes one E27 bulb of up to 28W, and the bulbs are not included, so the colour and warmth of the light are yours to choose. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors in a dry room, never a bathroom or a porch.

Because the five shades hang at different heights, the cluster is at its best where there is ceiling height to fill: a living room over the sofa, a dining room above the table, or a hallway with a tall ceiling. Light falls from the open base of each chrome globe, so it pools downward onto the seating or the table rather than glaring outward. With the lamps off, the mirrored chrome picks up the room around it and the clear glass outer shades give every globe a second, lighter outline, so the pendant still looks considered in daylight. It suits anyone who wants one ceiling fitting to do the work of several.

There is no switch on the pendant itself; it works from the wall switch and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains.
