Description

This dimmable LED reflector bulb pairs a clear glass front with a mirrored silver body, and screws into any E27 lampholder. It is 9.5cm long and 6.3cm in diameter, with a rounded dome on a slim neck, a compact shape for open pendants and shades. Through the clear front you can see the filament LEDs, which draw just 5.5W and give 470lm of warm white light at 2700K. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, and never in a bathroom or an outdoor fitting.

Because the mirrored body sends the light forward through the clear front, we think this bulb is at its best facing down in an open pendant over a dining table, a desk or a hall console, where you want a pool of light rather than a glow spilling sideways. The silver finish also looks good on show, so it suits bare-bulb pendants and open cage shades as well as table and floor lamps with an E27 holder. Warm white at 2700K gives the soft, golden tone that suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms through the evening.

The body is glass, with the mirrored coating around the sides and neck and a clear dome at the front.
