Description

Our clear LED GLS bulb has the classic rounded pear shape most people picture when they think of a light bulb, with an E27 silver metal screw cap. Through the clear glass you can see four slim LED filaments standing upright around a central glass stem, so it keeps the look of an old filament lamp while drawing only 7W. It gives 806lm of light at 2700K, a warm white that feels at home in a living room or bedroom, and it runs at mains voltage, so it fits straight into a standard E27 lampholder.

Because the glass is clear, the filaments become part of the look, which is why we suggest it for fittings where the bulb is seen: a pendant with an open shade or no shade at all, a wall light with a glass cage, or a table lamp with a wide, open top. The warm white tone suits rooms where you relax, such as a lounge, a dining area or a bedroom, and 806lm is enough to serve as the main bulb in a ceiling pendant as well as a lamp. It is dimmable too, so on a dimmer switch you can bring the level down for a softer evening glow.
