Class 10 Light Crystal Cluster Pendant - Chrome & Black Glass Loops

The Class is a 10 light crystal cluster pendant built around a 450mm polished chrome circular canopy, from which hang multiple strands of Asfour crystal spheres interspersed with handcrafted black resin-filled glass loops. Each of the 10 G4 bulbs sits inside the chrome canopy with light radiating down through the suspended crystal and glass elements, creating dynamic refraction and controlled sparkle across the black loop framework.

Designed for double-height spaces, entrance halls, and large living rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above, the Class drops 1000mm from ceiling to lowest crystal point. The circular canopy distributes the crystal strands evenly in a cylindrical fall, making the pendant visible from multiple angles and giving it a three-dimensional presence in the centre of a room. The chrome ceiling plate fits standard UK ceiling roses and houses the 10 G4 bulbs rated at 20W each, giving a combined 200W output.

The black glass loops are individually shaped and filled with resin before being threaded onto the suspension cables alongside the clear crystal spheres. This creates a repeating pattern of transparency and opacity down each strand, with light passing through the crystal and being blocked or diffused by the black loops. The result is a controlled distribution of sparkle rather than uniform brightness. The 8.5kg weight requires secure ceiling fixation into a joist or structural support.

The Class is dimmable when paired with a trailing-edge dimmer compatible with halogen G4 bulbs. The fitting is not compatible with LED or CFL G4 replacements — only halogen G4 capsules should be used. The 10 halogen bulbs are included with the pendant.

Can I use LED G4 bulbs instead of halogen?

No. The Class pendant is not compatible with LED or CFL G4 capsules. Only halogen G4 bulbs up to 20W should be used. The 10 halogen bulbs are included with the pendant.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1000mm drop works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above. In lower-ceiling spaces the pendant may hang too low for comfortable circulation underneath, particularly in hallways or dining areas.

Is the pendant dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a trailing-edge dimmer designed for halogen loads. Standard leading-edge dimmers may cause flicker or buzzing with the G4 halogen bulbs.

How is the 8.5kg weight supported?

The ceiling plate must be fixed into a ceiling joist or structural support capable of bearing at least 12kg. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient for this pendant's weight.
