Description

The Clasanne is a two light spotlight bar for the ceiling: a pair of cone-shaped heads on a straight steel bar, carried by a round ceiling plate at its centre. The finish is brushed brass with gold, a warm metallic tone with a soft sheen rather than the hard shine of polished metal. The bar is 37cm long, 6.5cm wide and 17cm high, a compact size for a ceiling where a larger fitting would crowd the room. Each head takes a GU10 bulb, and the light source is rated at 2.8W and 250 lumens per light. It is rated IP20, and that settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

Each head pivots on its own bracket, so you can point one light at a shelf of books or a picture and angle the other across a worktop or a desk, and one fitting does the work of two. That makes it a good choice for a kitchen, a hallway, a home office or a living room where a single central light leaves corners in shadow. The brass and gold tone sits well with warm woods, black metal and soft neutral walls, and the cone shades give a light workshop character without looking heavy.
