The Cintura is a 400mm alabaster ring pendant light suspended from a brown leather strap with solid copper detailing. The ring itself is cut from a single piece of natural Spanish alabaster with an 80mm section thickness, looped through the leather strap so the stone hangs vertically rather than horizontally. An integrated 13W LED at 3000K lights the alabaster from within, picking out the natural veining across the face of the ring.

Designed for rooms with height, the Cintura suits double-height entrance halls, stairwell voids, vaulted living rooms and the open volumes typical of converted barns or loft conversions. The 1500mm overall drop allows the pendant to sit clear of head height in tall spaces while still reading as a single sculptural element rather than disappearing into the ceiling. The vertical orientation makes it well suited to spots where a horizontal pendant would feel too wide.

Material combinations are the defining feature: cool, translucent alabaster against warm-toned brown leather and solid copper. The leather strap carries visible stitching and softens with handling over time, while the copper accents take on a deeper patina with age. Each alabaster ring shows different mineral veining and tonal variation, so no two Cintura pendants look identical when lit. The 80mm cross-section gives the ring substantial physical presence without making it visually heavy.

What ceiling height does the Cintura need?

The overall drop is 1500mm, so the pendant suits ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher to keep the alabaster ring clear of head height. It works particularly well in double-height entrance halls, stairwell voids and vaulted rooms where a vertical pendant has space to breathe.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 13W 3000K LED is integrated into the fitting rather than a replaceable bulb. With typical LED lifespans of 25,000-50,000 hours, the light source is rated for many years of normal domestic use. The pendant carries a 2-year warranty.

Will the alabaster ring vary between pieces?

Yes. Each ring is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural material — no two Cintura pendants look identical when lit.

How is the leather strap maintained?

The brown leather will soften and develop a deeper patina with age, which is part of the design intent. Wipe occasionally with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Avoid leather conditioners or oils, as these can transfer onto the alabaster and copper.
