Description

The Ciggiano is a long, slim LED bar pendant in a brown, copper-toned finish, hung on fine suspension wires from a black rectangular ceiling canopy. The bar is 150cm long and 10cm wide, with an overall height of 150cm. Its body is aluminium and steel, with a white plastic diffuser along the underside, and the LEDs are built into the bar rather than fitted as a separate bulb. It draws 30W and gives 4,440lm, plenty to light a long table from end to end. It is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors in a dry room rather than a bathroom or outside.

Its length makes it a natural fit over a dining table, a kitchen island or a long desk, where a single pendant would leave the ends in shadow. The colour temperature moves from a warm 2200K to a cool 6500K, so the same light can be soft and golden for an evening meal and crisp and bright for homework or cooking. Because it is dimmable, you can also turn it low for a quieter mood. The height adjusts by hand, so you can hang the bar at the drop that suits your table and ceiling. The copper-toned brown sits warmly against wood, stone and pale walls, while the black canopy keeps the ceiling end neat.

The white plastic diffuser softens the integrated LEDs into a continuous line of light. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, and a remote control comes in the box for dimming and changing the colour temperature from your seat. The remote takes a CR2032 coin cell battery. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, and has an energy class of C. As a mains light wired in at the ceiling, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download, so your electrician can read them first.
