Description

This chrome bezel fits Knightsbridge IP65 fire-rated LED downlights, providing an 85mm diameter decorative trim ring that sits flush with the ceiling surface. The bezel is pressed from steel and finished in polished chrome, adding a reflective metallic accent to the white thermoplastic body of the compatible downlights.

Designed for exterior soffits, covered porches, bathrooms and other IP65-rated installations, the bezel maintains the downlight's ingress protection rating when correctly fitted. The 4mm projection from the ceiling gives a subtle recessed appearance without creating a deep shadow line. The bezel clips onto the downlight body without tools, allowing it to be removed for redecorating or replaced if the finish becomes damaged.

The chrome finish pairs with contemporary and traditional exterior schemes where metallic accents are preferred over plain white fittings. The bezel is compatible with Knightsbridge's 5W and 6W fire-rated dimmable LED downlights in both 3000K and 4000K colour temperatures, giving flexibility to match the trim finish to door furniture, guttering or window frames while keeping the same downlight body across an installation.

The bezel fits Knightsbridge fire-rated LED dimmable downlights in 5W and 6W versions, available in 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white. The downlight body must be the white thermoplastic IP65-rated version — this bezel does not fit non-fire-rated or non-IP65 downlight models.

Does fitting the bezel affect the IP65 rating?

No. When correctly clipped onto a compatible Knightsbridge IP65 downlight, the bezel maintains the full IP65 ingress protection rating required for exterior and bathroom installations.

Can the bezel be removed for painting?

Yes. The bezel clips onto the downlight body without screws or permanent fixings, allowing it to be removed before painting a ceiling and re-clipped afterwards without affecting the downlight's performance or IP rating.
