Description
This Christmas swan figurine pairs a large white swan with a smaller one perched on its back, both wearing red Santa hats with cream bobbles and trims. The larger swan wears a garland of holly and red berries at the base of its curved neck, with a small gold bell hanging beneath. Its red glittered wing is worked to look like a chunky knit, dotted with green holly motifs, while the smaller swan wears a matching wing, a string of pearl-like beads and its own tiny bell. Made from resin, also called polystone, the white bodies carry fine sculpted lines and orange beaks and feet. It stands 10cm tall and measures 11cm across and 5.5cm deep.
At 10cm tall it is a small piece that sits neatly on a mantelpiece, a bookshelf, a windowsill or a hallway table, where it settles in happily among greenery, pine cones and baubles. We like it on the Christmas dinner table as a little centrepiece beside the crackers, or on a desk for some seasonal cheer. The white and red colouring suits traditional decorations in red, green and gold, and the glitter catches the glow of fairy lights. As a Christmas gift it makes a thoughtful small present to tuck into a stocking or hand over with a card.
The figurine stands on its own on any level surface, with no hook or stand needed. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth and avoid rubbing the glittered areas, which can lose their sparkle with handling. When the season is over, wrap it in tissue paper and store it somewhere dry, ready to come out again next December. For a simple display, set it on a small mirror tile with a few sprigs of greenery around it, and the two swans become a little winter scene.

Frequently Asked
How big is this swan figurine?
It stands 10cm tall and measures 11cm across and 5.5cm deep, a small size that fits easily on a shelf, mantelpiece or windowsill.
What is the figurine made from?
It is made from resin, also known as polystone, which holds fine detail such as the knit texture on the red wings and the holly garland.
What colours are the swans?
The swans are white with red glittered wings and red Santa hats, finished with green holly, gold bells, cream bobbles and orange beaks and feet.
Does it hang or stand?
It is a freestanding figurine that sits on its own on any level surface, so there is no hook, cord or stand to sort out.
How should I clean it?
Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth and avoid rubbing the glittered areas. Wrap it in tissue paper when you pack it away after Christmas.
Would it make a good Christmas gift?
We think so. It is a cheerful small present to tuck into a stocking or give with a card, and it can come out again every December.
