Description
This pink present sack brings a touch of fairytale to Christmas Eve, with six princesses gathered beneath a pale castle and the words "Christmas Sparkle" written across the front in gold script. A ring of soft pink roses, green leaves and a pale ribbon bow frames the group, while a coral swirl border runs around the gathered top. The back is plain pink, keeping all the colour on the front. It measures 70cm tall and 47cm wide, a generous size for a good pile of wrapped presents, and it lies almost flat when empty.
We think it is at its best on Christmas Eve, filled and waiting at the foot of the bed or tucked under the tree for the morning. It also makes a pretty way to carry presents to family on Christmas Day, keeping a whole bundle of parcels together rather than juggling bags. With its pastel colours and fairytale scene, it sits happily alongside a pink or blush tree scheme, and it brings the same festive cheer to a bedroom, hallway or living room through the season. The princesses are easy to recognise, each in her own colourful gown.
The top is gathered on a pink drawstring cord with a loop at each side, so you simply pull the cord to close the sack over its contents and loosen it again to lift presents out. Once filled, the gathered top can be drawn tight so nothing peeks out before the morning. For care, we suggest brushing off any dust and folding it with the printed side inwards to store somewhere dry between Christmases. It is a lovely way to start a family tradition: fill it once and bring it out again each December as part of the countdown.
