Description

The Chevery cushion is a square cushion in natural cream cotton, with a raised, tufted pattern on the front. Two sets of soft arcs sit across it, one curving down from the top edge and one rising from the bottom, so they mirror each other either side of a band of plain woven fabric in the centre. The weave is loose and slubby, which gives the flat areas a texture of their own beside the deep, looped tufting. It measures 45cm long and 45cm wide and comes supplied with a cushion pad, so there is no separate insert to buy.

Because the colour is a soft cream rather than a bright white, it settles easily into a neutral scheme and sits just as happily against grey, oatmeal or warm wood. We like it on a sofa as the one textured piece among plainer cushions, or in a pair at the head of a bed, where the mirrored arcs look neat side by side.
