The Chelso is a 250mm round LED wall light with an integrated 14W LED (3000K) behind a satin-finished acrylic diffuser, mounted on a white powder-coated metal body. The circular profile projects 250mm from the wall, directing light outward and upward to create an indirect wash across adjacent surfaces rather than a focused beam.

Designed for hallways, staircases, living rooms and bedrooms where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Chelso adds soft illumination without harsh shadows or glare. The satin acrylic diffuser softens the LED output to a gentle glow that highlights wall texture and architectural detail. The 250mm diameter makes it suitable for standard ceiling heights of 2.4m or above without visually overwhelming narrow corridors.

The white powder-coated metal body resists everyday marking and pairs cleanly with white or neutral walls in contemporary and minimalist interiors. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor installation. The fitting fixes to a standard wall back box with a concealed fixing plate, so no screws are visible once installed.

The integrated LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use at 3000K warm white, equivalent to around 10 years of typical domestic use at 6-8 hours per day. The LED is not user-replaceable, but Ideal Lux backs the fitting with a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.
