Description

The Chelsea Harbor is a 279mm diameter flush-mount outdoor ceiling light with two E27 bulb positions behind mouth-blown seeded glass panels, set within a hand-finished aluminium frame in storm cloud grey with black speckle accents. The 149mm projection from ceiling to base gives enough depth for the glass drum and internal lamp holders while keeping the fitting close to the ceiling for covered porches, patio overhangs and entrance canopies.

Designed for outdoor installation under covered areas, the IP44 rating protects the internal wiring and lamp holders from water spray and solid objects above 1mm. The two-bulb configuration spreads light across a wider area than single-bulb flush mounts, making the fitting suitable for porches measuring 2-3m wide or entrance canopies over double doors. Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose warm filament-style LEDs for a coastal aesthetic or brighter cool-white LEDs for security lighting.

The seeded glass has deliberate air bubbles and texture variations blown into the molten glass during manufacture, diffusing the bulb glow and softening glare when viewed from below. The storm cloud finish on the aluminium combines a grey base coat with black speckle to give an aged, weathered appearance that pairs with both traditional cottage exteriors and contemporary grey render. The hand-applied finish means each fitting has slight tonal variation between pieces. The aluminium construction resists corrosion in coastal and high-humidity environments better than painted steel alternatives.
