Description

The Chasm is an IP44-rated outdoor wall light with an integrated 5.5W 3000K LED, housed inside a matte black geometric metal body with a painted wood-effect accent band wrapping the centre. The light projects both upwards and downwards through open-ended hexagonal diffusers, casting illumination onto the wall above and below the fitting without spilling forward.

Designed for residential exteriors including covered porches, doorway surrounds, and external hallway passages where the IP44 rating provides protection from rain splash and dust ingress, the Chasm projects 130mm from the wall and sits 386mm tall. The up-down beam pattern highlights vertical architectural features and breaks up blank wall expanses without creating glare at eye level when approaching a doorway.

The matte black metal body is formed from folded sheet steel, giving the fitting a 172mm-square footprint and angular profile. The painted wood-effect band provides a tonal contrast against the black finish and sits recessed between the upper and lower light chambers. The integrated LED runs on mains 230V and cannot be replaced, giving the fitting a sealed design that contributes to its IP44 weatherproofing. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to halogen.
