Description

The Chartbury Twin Pack is a matched pair of touch-dimmer table lamps, supplied together so you can light both sides of a bed or a room at once. Each lamp has a plated metal base and a fabric drum shade, and is operated by a light tap that moves through three brightness stages. Every lamp stands 420mm tall with a 230mm shade, and the pack weighs 1.3kg. Both have an integrated LED giving a warm white light and a 1.8 metre flex to the plug.

Buying the pair makes sense for bedrooms, where a lamp either side of the bed gives a balanced, symmetrical look and equal light for reading or winding down. The touch dimming is easy to reach from a pillow, and the pair also works across a living room on two side tables or a sideboard. Each lamp plugs in on its own, so you can place them wherever the sockets allow and still keep the look co-ordinated.

The pack pairs a satin nickel base with a dark grey shade and a soft brass base with a taupe shade, each with a colour-matched flex. Both lamps are Class 2 double insulated, so no earth is required, and both are IP20 for dry indoor use. The integrated LEDs give a warm white light and are built in rather than replaceable. Care is simple: dust the shades and wipe the bases with a soft dry cloth, avoiding damp and abrasive cleaners. If you would rather buy a single lamp, the Chartbury is also sold on its own within the range.
