The Charlize is a 6-light cluster pendant featuring electroplated glass shades in four distinct metallic finishes — polished gold, polished copper, polished chrome and clear glass — suspended from a 570mm circular brushed aluminium canopy in dark grey. Each shade houses an integrated LED module behind an opal acrylic diffuser, producing 1320 lumens of warm 3000K light across the six drops. The cluster configuration arranges the shades at staggered heights between 750mm and 2000mm from the canopy, creating a vertical cascade that works over staircases, double-height entrance halls and dining tables where ceiling heights of 2.8m or above are available.

Designed for ambient rather than task lighting, the Charlize diffuses light in all directions through the opal acrylic and reflective glass finishes, creating multiple points of soft illumination rather than a single concentrated beam. The mix of gold, copper and chrome tones gives the cluster a decorative presence even when switched off, and the mirrored glass surfaces reflect surrounding room colours and natural light during the day. The fixture is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer, allowing output to be reduced for evening ambience or raised for functional illumination during meal preparation or entertaining.

The brushed aluminium canopy is 570mm in diameter and weighs 4.93kg when fully assembled, requiring a secure ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard fixing. The drop height is adjustable between 750mm minimum and 2000mm maximum by shortening the suspension cables during installation — once set, the height is fixed. The integrated LEDs are rated at 36W combined output with a CRI of >85, providing good colour rendering for interiors where accurate colour perception matters. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

Yes. The integrated LEDs are dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer. Not all dimmers support LED fixtures — check your dimmer specification or contact us to confirm compatibility before installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The drop is adjustable between 750mm and 2000mm, set during installation by shortening the suspension cables. For dining tables the cluster typically sits 750-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.8m or above. Staircases and double-height entrance halls can accommodate the full 2000mm drop.

Does it come with bulbs?

The LEDs are integrated into each shade and cannot be replaced. They are rated at 36W combined output and 3000K colour temperature, delivering 1320 lumens across the six lights.

What fixings are required for the 4.93kg weight?

The 570mm canopy requires fixing into a solid ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard anchor rated for the full assembled weight. Standard plasterboard cavity fixings are not suitable. Consult a qualified electrician if the ceiling structure is uncertain.
