The Charlie is a 158cm abstract sculpture cast in aluminium with a textured brass-toned finish, forming a spiralling open-knot shape on a 30cm square matte black metal base. The sculpture is hand-finished, so the surface shows variation in texture and patina across the curves and twists of the form. Light catches differently on each facet of the spiral as viewing angle changes.

Designed for hallways, entrance areas, staircase landings and living room corners where vertical space allows for tall decorative pieces, the Charlie works in contemporary, industrial and mid-century interiors. The 30cm footprint fits narrow alcoves and corner positions where a wider sculpture would not, while the 158cm height draws the eye upward and fills vertical space without requiring floor area.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight to 13kg despite the height, making it manageable for positioning and moving if needed. The brass finish over aluminium gives a warm metallic tone that pairs with warm woods, concrete, exposed brick and neutral fabric upholstery.
