Description

The Champerico is a pendant light with a wide, shallow dome of black steel wire that fans out from an inner cone shade around the bulb holder. It measures 77cm across and 150cm in overall height, and it hangs from a round ceiling canopy on a slim cable. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60W, which is not included, so you choose the colour and warmth of the light yourself. The IP20 rating means it is made for dry rooms indoors, which is exactly where a pendant of this size belongs.

At 77cm across, this black pendant light gives a dining table or a kitchen island a clear centre point. It fills the space over a large table in a way a small shade cannot. It sits just as comfortably in a living room or an open plan space with a good ceiling height, where the open wirework keeps it looking light rather than heavy. Because the frame is mostly open, the room stays visible through it, which suits anyone who wants a large pendant without a solid block of colour hanging in the middle of the room.

The frame is steel in a black finish, and the outer dome is built from curved wires crossed by rings that gather at the top of the cone. There is no switch on the light itself. It is switched at the wall, so it runs from the light switch you already have. It works on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains, and as a wired ceiling light it is installed by a qualified electrician. The packed weight is 4.069KG, and the installation instructions come as a download, so your electrician can read them before fitting day.
