Description

The Centipede is a 1.65m floor lamp built around a blue powder-coated steel stem with five horizontal arms branching out along its height, topped with a white conical fabric shade over a single E27 bulb fitting. The branching arms serve a dual function as both sculptural feature and magazine/book holders, each arm supporting approximately 2kg of weight.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where conventional floor lamps occupy too much visual space, the Centipede's vertical profile keeps the footprint to 310 x 310mm while extending full-height presence from floor to ceiling. The tripod base gives stability on bare floors and rugs without needing to be weighted. The white shade casts diffused ambient light through the room while the blue frame adds a bold colour accent that works in contemporary, mid-century and Scandinavian-influenced interiors.

The lamp accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose the light temperature and brightness that suits the room. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb and dimmer combination selected. The powder-coated finish on the blue frame resists fingerprints and maintains colour over time.
