Description

The Celine is an 80cm diameter crystal chandelier built around twelve curving aged silver arms, each terminating in an E14 candle bulb fitting and draped with faceted crystal swags and droplets. A central tapered column runs from the ceiling canopy through the middle of the frame, surrounded by scrollwork that fans outward in a symmetrical pattern. The crystal elements hang in strands from the upper arms and cascade down the central column, catching and refracting light when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for dining rooms with table lengths of 1800-2400mm and double-height entrance halls, the Celine works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.7m upward. The drop is adjustable between 1170mm minimum and 2620mm maximum, allowing the fitting to be raised or lowered during installation to achieve the right proportion above a table or floor. The 80cm diameter fills the space above a six-to-eight-seater dining table without overwhelming smaller adjacent rooms when seen through doorways.

The aged silver finish on the metalwork has a tarnished patina that gives the frame a centuries-old character, contrasting with the clear cut crystal. Each arm curves outward from the central column in a scrolled candelabra style, and the crystal swags drape between them in graduated loops. The frame itself weighs 7.8kg before bulbs, requiring a ceiling joist or fixing point rated for at least 12kg to support the chandelier safely. The fitting accepts dimmable E14 bulbs up to 20W each (sold separately), allowing total output to be controlled with a compatible dimmer switch.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow bulbs to cool completely. Remove dust with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster, working from the top down. For deeper cleaning, wipe each crystal strand individually with a barely-damp microfibre cloth and distilled water, then dry immediately to prevent water marks. Do not spray cleaning products directly onto the chandelier or submerge crystal elements.
