Description

The Celestia is a 750mm linear LED wall light with an integrated 13W 3000K LED module housed in a white metal bar measuring just 15mm in height and 55mm in projection. Two LED strips inside the fitting cast light both upwards and downwards along the wall, creating a soft wash effect either side of the bar. The IP44 rating permits installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, making this suitable for vanity lighting above mirrors or flanking bathroom cabinets.

Designed for horizontal mounting above mirrors, washbasins and bathroom storage, the Celestia provides functional task lighting without occupying much wall space. The 750mm length suits standard single-basin vanity units and bathroom mirrors between 600-900mm wide. The white powder-coated metal finish pairs with white bathroom tiles, cabinetry and sanitaryware, while the compact 55mm projection keeps the fitting clear of mirror edges and cabinet doors.

The dual-strip LED configuration inside the bar sends light both up and down the wall, reducing harsh shadows under the chin and around the eyes when used as mirror lighting. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light closer to halogen than daylight, which most users find more flattering for grooming tasks. The fitting mounts directly to the wall via a backplate concealed behind the bar, with cable entry from behind the fitting for a clean installation.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

Yes. The IP44 rating permits installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, which includes areas outside the shower enclosure and above washbasins where direct water jets are unlikely. The fitting is not rated for installation inside shower enclosures or directly above baths (zone 1).

Is the Celestia dimmable?

No. The integrated LED module is not compatible with dimmer switches. The fitting operates at full 13W output when switched on.

What mirror width does this suit?

The 750mm length works best with bathroom mirrors between 600-900mm wide, mounted centrally above the mirror. For wider mirrors, consider pairing two Celestia fittings or using the longer variants in the same range if available.

How is it mounted?

The fitting mounts horizontally via a concealed backplate behind the bar. Cable entry is from behind the fitting, so the mains supply cable needs to emerge from the wall at the mounting position. The compact 55mm projection means the fitting sits close to the wall once installed.
